Getting started

1. Open Proofty in your Shopify admin and choose Create a template.
2. Pick your personalized product and upload its blank mockup image.
3. Add a text or photo area for each personalization field and type the field name exactly as it appears on orders (for example Name).
4. Preview, save — new orders for that product now get a proof automatically.

Common questions

Where do field names come from? From your product options or personalization app — they appear on the order under the line item. The editor suggests names found on your recent orders.

What if a proof looks wrong? It stops in Needs check. Fix the text and re-render, or upload your own proof image.

Before uninstalling, release any orders still on hold (open each proof and choose Mark approved or Cancel proof).
